Josie
As owner and leader of the Team, Josie knows the importance of great customer service and instills that motivation in her staff. She also takes pride in the abilities and willingness of her team to constantly strive to improve through continuing education. Her philosophy of “Seeing is Believing” show up in the beautiful results that are a daily occurrence. Josie still loves to work behind the chair doing her favorites: color, perms and hi-lift blondes.
 

Antonia Mollica
Antonia’s creative vision is as unique as her own vivacious sense of style. She has been with MHH for 5 years after experiencing her internship at other trendy Valley salons. Her attention to detail, as well as the way she takes into consideration face shape, hair texture and lifestyle to create your personalized style, is an asset to her considerable talent. She loves hair extentions, color (blondes especially!) and cuts (men, too), does amazing blow outs and updos and special event styling. She is available for on-site work. She uses Redken, Framesi and Schwartzkopf colors. Her advanced training includes Unite, Toni & Guy, Redken and Schwartzkopf. Antonia is always eager to venture to new frontiers. Because of her belief in the product she became an educator for Nioxin and now trains other stylists in the use of the product.

Breanna
Although she is a relative newcomer to MHH, Bree has 7 years experience in the field. She apprenticed at Carlton Hair Int’l., and worked in Beverly Hills and Melrose before moving to the Boulevard.

She specializes in color correction, creative cuts and color, hair extensions and special occasion updos. She has extensive knowledge of the Schwartzkopf color line and also uses Redken, Wella Color Touch and Framesi. Her advanced training in Vidal Sassoons’ Extensive Course has prepared her for even the most problematic hair. She also works as a free-lance make up artist and credits being in this profession as one of the most amazing experiences of her life.

Carol Lieberstein
The art of hairdressing has been my passion for 35 years. I present the latest styles in men’s and women’s haircuts, perms and weavings with colors featuring Koleston Perfect Hair Color by Wella-Sebastian, as well as the great classic looks.

Caroline Guiney
Since graduating in 1998, Caroline has been specializing in color and hair extensions for all types of hair especially that which is thinning. She has had extensive training with Schwartzkopf, Aveda, and Unite Eurotherapy and continually strives to further her education. Cindy
When it comes to being involved in the business, Cindy takes it to the max. In addition to having been a stylist, she has been an officer and member of the Cal. Cosmetology Assoc. She’s worked at Saks 5th Ave. and owned her own salon for 15 years before coming to MHH 10 years ago. She loves color, cuts, perms and updos and has advanced training with some of the best known names in the business, Redken, Matrix, L’Oreal, Toni and Guy and Sebastian. She has won numerous awards for her platform work and has taught classes for C.C.A. and at hair shows. After all these years she still loves what she does and does it beautifully.

Dina
Under Dina’s quirky, lively personality lies a seriously professional stylist. At MHH for 12 of her 13 years in the industry, the art of makeover is magic in her hands and one of her favorite things to do. She’s also crazy about short hair and highlights. Her haircolors of choice are Redken, Goldwell and Matrix. She feels that her continuing education is important for keeping her ideas fresh and innovative. She loves her life behind the chair and invites you to become a part of her excitement program.

Ermanno
Ermanno was born and raised in Messina, Italy, where he attended the Oreal Beauty School before moving to the U. S. After he settled in the Los Angeles area, Ermanno continued his studies in cosmetology in Los Angeles at The Institute of Beauty. He quickly became one of the top hair artists in the Los Angeles area.

He has owned and operated several very successful salons and a Hair Academy. When it comes to creating, Ermanno is a master hair cutter, stylist and colorist. He has created his own line of beauty products in accordance with his high standards. He has serviced many celebrities and has won many awards and is also an artist who sculpts, paints, and draws.

Ermanno has become an active and well known personality in both professional and community circles. He has donated his time and expertise to organizing benefits and fund-raisers for the Jerry Lewis Muscolar Dystrophy foundation, the St. Jude's Children Hospital, The Kiwanis Children Charities, and many others.

Gloria Nevarez
Gloria is a newcomer to MHH but she is certainly not to the industry. She has been in the business for 30 years and is considered one of the pioneers in hair extentions. She is adept at doing micro cylinders, individuals and wefts and constantly updates her work to keep up with the latest technologies. She also loves color, perms, cuts and special occasion do’s and will do off site styling for weddings, bar/bat mitzvahs, etc. She uses Matrix, Goldwell, and Wella colors.

Gosia
Originally from Poland, Gosia moved to L.A. in 1997 and had no idea for a career direction. Desperate for a job, she started working at MHH shampooing. Seeing how intrigued and natural she was with the salon environment, she was quickly enrolled in our apprentice program. Since then Gosia has fallen madly in love not only with the artistry of hair, but also with how she makes her clients feel.  10 years later, she has become one of the most sought after stylists in the area. She believes in continuous education and has taken taken numerous courses in cutting, coloring and altho she does it all these are her favorites. “I use several different techniques to achieve color that ranges from really natural and soft to really edgy.” Most recently she has attended the Vidal Sassoon Academy in Santa Monica and Miami for classic, creative and barbering classes. Gosia uses various brands of color; Redken, Schwartzkopf, Wella and Alphaparf are amongst her favorites but she is willing to work with any brand or color formula.

Heidi
Heidi is a certified haircolor specialist and creative hair designer. As a colorist, she loves to combine quality colors and hi-lighting techniques to create color ranges from rich, decadent browns to bright golden blondes. As a creative designer, her specialty is makeovers. She is able to (re)define a broad spectrum of looks, from classic sophisticated to high glamour, ‘Bell of the Ball’, to funky chic. Her approach is to gain an understanding of her clients’ lifestyle and personality to achieve their desired results and has the added advantage of being bi-lingual.

Heidi has over 10 years of experience with multiple perspectives of hair concepts. With advanced training from the industries top educators in both color correction and special occasion styling, she is able to create artfully detailed updos for your special event which she can also perform at your location.

Because of the love of her profession she has chosen to share her techniques with students aspiring to be hairstylists, instilling confidence and excitement.

Joey
As a 4th generation stylist, Joey knew she was born for a life behind the chair. In her 4th year at MHH, her many talents have expanded to include hair and lash extensions. Her cutting expertise features advanced training by Aveda and Unite Eurotherapy. She is one of our Schwartzkopf color specialists and our most knowledgeable liaison to Unite products. She is open to any ideas you have no matter how wild or conservative and many clients agree she does her best work when you give her creative freedom. And the best part is, she loves doing the whole family! Her most recent credits are celebrity styles for a red carpet special for America’s Next Top Model and Seventeen magazine.

Kelly Travalena
Kelly began her career at MHH 8 years ago when she was fresh out of W. Valley Occup. Although a novice at the time, she has grown to become one of our most confident, well-loved and busiest stylists. Her passion for hair color, with blondes as her specialty, has led to many classes with Redken, Unite and Wella to perfect her craft. And she is really in her element with long hair. Kelly believes that loving what you do, as she does, fulfills her sense of purpose when she enhances someone’s life through their hair.

Kristine Alva
Just over 10 years ago, Kristine started her career with MHH as an assistant. Her talents were recognized very early on and she was given the opportunity to expand her knowledge with two full courses in Classic and Creative cuts at Vidal Sassoon Academy in Santa Monica. This led to her passion for women’s short styles, from tailored to funky. But her many talents don’t stop there. She also loves color, both classic and extreme, color correction, and hi and lo lights. And she is equally as comfortable and adept with men’s hair.

Kristine feels the best reward for her is the appreciation her clients have when they love their new transformation. Her professional and positive attitude has gained her much respect throughout her career.

Laura
Laura has been the industry for 27 years and has catered to all age groups but loves the working woman and gent and understands their needs. She specializes in Goldwell and Redken colors and she still enjoys doing perms, weaves, color and haircuts. Her advanced training includes Sassoon Academy and continuing education through Redken and Unite Eurotherapy. She prides herself in listening to what the client wants. She believes that client satisfaction is primary and she derives that same satisfaction from providing it for her clients.

Leah Wagner
Leah graduated from California College of Hair Design in Los Angeles. After graduating she spent two years working in the studio’s doing hair and make-up. By attending creative workshops with Redken, Logics and Unite, she is continually learning new color and cutting techniques. Blondes really do have more fun when Leah does color and weaves; dimensional color takes on a whole new meaning. MHH has had the privilege of having her as a part of our artistic team for 14 years.

Michiko
As one of our most dedicated members of the team, Michiko has been with MHH for over 25 years. She originally trained in Japan and excelled in the intricate art of geisha styling. Upon coming to the U.S., her focus turned to the more modern art of hair today. As with all MHH stylists, she too, avails herself of the many classes and demos provided for our staff.

She is an expert haircutter and loves doing perms and roller sets. Her colors of choice are L’Oreal, Clairol, and Wella. She enjoys the mature client and gives a fabulous man’s haircut but she is great with clients of all ages.

Rachel
I have been a hair and make-up artist since 1997 and still love it everyday. There isn’t any phase of my profession that I can’t do, from color correction to multicolor weaves, long layered cuts to spiky or tailored short, men or women. You will leave with an everyday style or color that you can work with easily. And I’m here for those special event occasions, too, be it prom, weddings or just that fun night out. I’m here for any of your needs and I’d love to meet you.
 

Sarina
The new “kid” in the shop, Sarina is no stranger to MHH, having interned here while attending Newberry School of Beauty.  She learned from the best, and has had expert training in hi-lights, lo-lights, and all coloring; from classy and sophisticated to funky and  edgy. Her resume also includes a course in European style cutting and coloring at Unite Eurofusion Hair Academy. Sarina specializes in curly, wavy, and damaged hair, color correction, hi-lights/lo-lights, precision haircuts and deep repairing conditioners, but she also loves doing up-dos and incredible blow-drys. She uses Redken, Framesi, Wella, and CHI color products. Her passion for hair and making people feel beautiful shows in all her work.  A real people person, Sarina’s energetic personality and creative skills will put a smile on your face!

Simin
Simin has learned her numerous talents from many places around the world. Trained in Germany, Paris, London and Canada as well as the U.S. she is truly an international master of hair. She has 29 years of experience with advanced classes from Wella, Sebastian, Schwartzkopf and Sassoon. She has a passion for color correction, hi and lo-lights, cuts, and updos. She is our expert in Bio-ionic straightening and enjoys doing long hair. Her clients agree that sitting in her chair is an amazing experience.

Susan K.
With over 20 years in the industry, 8 years at MHH, and Susan’s training in Iran, Germany and the U.S. she has truly established an international appeal with her loyal and loving clientele. Men, women and children are all warmly welcomed.
She loves doing color and highlighting, cuts and perms and special occasion hair styles, with advanced training from Sebastian, Sassoon, Redken, Unite and Nioxin to name a few. Schwartzkopf, Redken, Goldwell, Wella and Clairol are her color favorites and she keeps herself abreast of new trends by continuing education.
Susan credits her longevity in the field from her passion for creativity and her love of humanity. This is verified by the fact that her clients come from the farthest reaches of Los Angeles, Orange and Ventura counties. Victor
Victor is MHH’s artistic director. He graduated from Pasadena City College for cosmetology. His continuous education includes Sebastian, Redken, Abba, Wella, Unite and Clairol. He loves makeovers.
